Lush Life,2021

"Lush Life" was inspired by one of the garden beds in RHS Wisley Gardens, Surrey. The time of year was late spring and there was quite dense collection of plantings; and in the middle was this waterpipe. The waterpipe immediately got my attention because it looked old fashioned and slightly disused. The contrast between the new lush foliage and this rusty pipe made for an interesting composition.
